WRC 9 seems mostly the same in this department, but to avoid déjà vu it probably could’ve done with a way for returning players of WRC 8 to skip past the feeder series and get straight to the WRC championship proper. It took a looong while for me to get it feeling right. I use a CSL Elite 1.1 and Clubsport v3 pedals on an Xbox One X (yeah I know.30fps sucks). The FFB is actually pretty good, but it takes a good bit of time and patience to get right. I would LOVE for WRC 8 to be better than DR 2, but atm i dont see it. Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to spell it out so people might be able help rather than start accusing me of trolling. Seems like a really good game, with great physics on both dirt and tarmac, i just don't feel it very well. Recommended settings were from gamer muscle. I tried with both the default ingame settings and settings recommended in the interwebs.

Now, im willing to accept the idea that my FFB settings arent perfect. The only real feel i get is when the car is sliding and the counter steering force occurs. This is modeled IMO very well in DR 2, but i feel absolutely nothing in WRC 8, theres no feel at all. When going fast over crests and bumps you'd expect the steering to feel heavier and lighter as the car either gets light going over crests and jumps or gets heavier going into dips or landing from a jump etc. I know its subjective and all, but there are certain things I feel arent quite up to what i would expect from a car. With the settings below I feel just as physical connected as with RBR but with added details Modern WRC cars have power steering and the steering wheel is very easy to turn and this is also very well replicated in the FFB and Road Feel with WRC 8. FFB is a very subjective thing and I like it to feel like a real car and not like a heavy duty work out session:
